Phono 2 not in Stereo. No right channel
#1
I'm a newbie so please forgive me if I sound like an idiot. I've just set up my used Expert 200 and I'm trying to figure things out. I'm using a Rega RP10 turntable as my source and I'm using Phono 2. When I use the remote and set the 'Channels' to Left...I get mono sound out of the Left AND Right speakers. When I set Channel to Right I don't get any sound out of either speaker. When set to Stereo I only get sound out of the Left speaker. When I set it to Mono I get sound out of both speakers but the sound is not as forward as when it's set to Left. When I set up the configurator I made sure the phono was set to Stereo.

Can someone please help me with this? Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks!

Mike,

1. Make sure that the connection from your turntable into the right channel socket is secure, it might just be that it is not making a proper connection.
2. If no change, reverse right and left channel connections, if the problem has moved so that you still have only mono or sound from one speaker, then check that your cartridge leads are firm.

Good luck.
