Reliability of Bluetooth with Golds

The fact that Airplay is not via Bluetooth is new to me, thanks. But doesn't that mean that it's using my ethernet cabling?

In any case I want to avoid PLC.

Why so against PLC? Definitely, AirPlay has nothing to do with Bluetooth. AirPlay goes through PLC, Ethernet, and WiFi which are all Ethernet technologies that use different physical paths, power cables, network cables, or wireless radio signals.

Not lossless. Aptx may sound better but it's still lossy. Deceptive marketing I'm afraid.
