SAM on line-in / surround setup
#1
I remember saying from Devialet that in a cinema setup / line-in the SAM setting should be turned of. The AV receiver doing all the settings.
In addition line-in and SAM on cause also some really hot temperatures. Couldn't find a concrete recommendation on the Devialet website about that anymore. Anyone got more?

I have SAM set on all 5 Devialet powered channels of my home cinema setup without any issue, the AV processor just acts as the pre-amp so can't see how it makes any difference.

Yes I had SAM set to on too- but remembered when just doing a new configuration that it was recommended by Devialet to have it off. Maybe someone here has also been in contact about that with Devialet directly and can share some of that.

As far as I know, SAM is increasing temperature (but not too much): there is additional digital processing required (meaning CPU power), and also amplifier is sending to the speaker more bass (meaning more audio power).
