I had exactly this choice to make two months ago. The little difference in price was not an issue to me. In the end I bought two white, standard Phantoms and a Dialog. They are playing a little over a week now and I feel I made a right decision. These things are very, very good. They go L O U D too. Louder than I will ever need in my 42m2 living room. I don't see any reason to buy the silver unless you think they look better.

They certainly do, I do not like the bright stainless steel finish of the "regular" Phantoms.

I agree and wish it was all white.
