Developed by the team that developed Soolos. No tablet version yet, but worth keeping an eye on.

I'm not sure I understand what it does exactly?

Chris from Computer Audiophile posted a 30 minute video review of the app. Only viewed the first 15 minutes but it seems pretty cool. App acts like an aggregator of sorts bringing together your local, networked and online/subscription music libraires, adds access to a deep online database and cross references all the available information found in your files, then arranges and presents it with style.

Isn't Spark a simplified version of this ? When I saw the Spark demo at the Montreal hi-fi show, it offered the ability to access all libraries on the same network as well via the app but did not offer the seamless Tidal integration Roon offers and no online database feature either.
A Naim forum member, GregW described it perfectly and provided links to Roon promotional videos.

Roon is a music library manager which can merge your computer, NAS and streaming service libraries. Initially an OS X and Windows App with support for Tidal. iOS and Android will follow apparently. Roonlabs developed the Sooloos system and recently spun out of Meridian.

Launch partners include, Auralic, dCS, Linn, PS Audio, and Meridian. As I understand it your Streamer/DAC acts as an endpoint in the the Roon app.

Sounds great. But it may seem to be a must have for classical music lovers
