Well, not sure it's fixed. 1 ping ok, 4 timeout, 1 ok, 4 timeouts..... Very strange.
Will check tomorrow if Air is working from a PC.

For the moment I run a PC with daphile (usb boot) connected to the Dev. Usb.
The PC is on the wifi network, and I use an iPad to control Daphile to play 16/44 & hires flac and Qobuz CD.
Still have to learn and choose how to design the target way of streaming.

Even if I'm in the break in period. It's fu...ing good !!!

Still don't know why the remote app is not working with the Dev. in wifi only, without eth wire.

The answer is Dev. is 2.4 GHz only.
It explains why I can't control my D200 from devices on the 5 GHz band of my Orange Internet box (dual bands). Apparently some routing issues with this Orange Liveplay box.
I will create 2 separate Wifi Configs for 2.4 and 5 GHz.

After the break in period of the system I well check AIR vs. USB to finalize my streaming design !

For now just testing 7.1.3

(I've checked DSD playing with Daphile and 8.0.0, it works well, DSD info showed on the Dev. menu, but as I have only 4 samples I went back to 7.1.3)

Strange that your router failed to handle the relay from the 5GHz to they 2.4GHz.

Luckily I did not face this problem. But happy you managed to pin down this tricky problem.

Yes very strange.
You know, when you unpack the D200, run the configurator (1 digital + Wifi), start playing CDs and notice your iPhone, then iPad can't control the volume it's scaring!!!
Fortunately I could run the Remote App on an iPad 1 (2.4 GHz) and Eureka !

I think I will end up with an Airport express if I want to use AIR Wifi.

By the way can you ping the wifi ip with no timeouts?

Yes compact for every day, but I have enough cable left to move away the 805d from the wall for serious listening sessions
