Being a bit lazy at the moment and repeatedly listening to old favourites. Even the masterful Roon hasn't helped me find much new stuff of interest this week.

If it makes you feel any better; I have that War on Drugs album on my phone and last year, when I was working in the office for a while and commuted into the city, I played it every commute, in and out of the city. And loved every minute of it  Smile

I usually play; Future Islands - Singles, and The Barr Brothers - Sleeping Operator around it. Perfect companions. Smile

When I first heard this I was a bit ho hum about it, but it's really grown on me.  The track "Transition" is terrific.

As they say: "You thought you didn't like the banjo but you were wrong pal."  Reminds me quite a bit of Emilíana Torrini (...plus banjo), which is a good thing in my book.
