I bought this album a few days ago because I recognised the cover from your post. For two dollars more it came with two live albums (Cascade) Absolutely love it! I have a few of his albums but always seem to go back to White ladder. This one is the first one since White ladder that I like as much or possibly even more. Thanks for your post!

Cheers,

More "sound" than "music" in this one but really interesting...

Thoroughly enjoyed that, Kunter, many thanks!

Yes, thanks Kunter. I listened to this late last night streaming from Qobuz and found it very absorbing. The production quality is excellent so I've bought a copy today. I also explored the Clean Feed catalogue on Qobuz a bit further and there are plenty of other similarly 'interesting' recordings by bands like Afterfall and Red Trio. Who knows where this might lead?

One of my all time favourites...

Redbook FLAC... streaming through the glorious d1 Tongue

Guillaume
Lizst Piano concerto 1, Philippe Entremont, Philadelphia/Ormandy
a classic 1959 recording but listening on a new CD. SQ pretty good except for the inevitable tape background hiss evident on quieter sections.
Overall I think my preferred listening input on the Devialet is CD via my Goldmund Mimesis 36+ connected by AES/EBU.

Streaming from a RAM drive on my Mac Mini through Audirvana via AIR to my D200.
