Tracey Emin's bed is also art ..... Angel
192k Saxophone Colossus and 176k The Bridge. Sonny Rollins never sounded better -- except live of course.
PhilipP,

Holly Herndon is great. Take a listen to the tune she did with JLin -- Unknown Tongues. Wild stuff and really shows off the ability of the Devialet to distinguish tone color.

Ok, will do. Thanks for the recommendation Smile
Holly Herndon is interesting, but takes some patience, or time to get into. For something also a bit offbeat and ethereal, but done more under the influence of melody, try Jo Hamilton. I saw her live in the fall. Sparse, tonal, nicely crafted material. I get it on Deezer and Spotify.

Downloaded the JLin track from Planet Mu and absolutely love it. Can't sit still - really makes me want to dance Smile

Cool video too

Glad you liked it! I love how that music grows from a very specific style of improvised dance battle -- Chicago footwork (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f06H1ezvjEg) -- but it's also very experimental. The whole album is great although that's my favorite cut. Have you heard DJ Koze's Amygdala? Very different but as richly textured as dance music gets and sounds absolutely amazing on the Devialet.

I think I will buy the Jlin CD plus there's a huge amount of new music to explore on Planet Mu which should keep me amused for a while.  I remember DJ Koze from about 10 years ago but haven't heard anything of his recently.

@Damon.  Thanks for your recommendation too Smile  I'm out now but will try later this evening.  Hopefully the wind will have died down by then - its been gusting at over 40 mph today which isn't ideal for any sort of critical listening.  I tried the SPl meter earlier and background noise is up 10+db on what I normally measure.
