Yannick:

Thanks for the feedback.

What is the length of Branch?

Have you tried bumping into them with the Phantom on it to see what are the chances of them falling?

In terms of stability, are the Phantoms attached somehow to Branch, or simply positioned on top?

Since you use Branch now, does the the yellow power cable from Phantom becomes obsolete? are there electronic/electric connections of Branch, and where are they located?

About Remote. How do you control volume? like opening/closing a jar, or do you need to look at a screen on Remote, and "touch/slide" to change volume?

Does the remote have a battery? What is it? Does it have manual saying how long it will last? Does Remote have an ON/OFF for Remote? Do you need to recharge a battery?

What is the Remote's material?

OK, that A LOT of questions. XD

Thanks.

One more! How does Remote connect to control volume... WiFi?
(05-Sep-2015, 00:40)Butuz Wrote: [ -> ]Yes I am disappoint.  I was expecting basic settings, forward, back on playlist, volume, mute, input select (i.e drag input onto playlist).

As it stands, the remote is semi useless, turn volume up, and turn volume down, that's it for 150 euros??  Devialet are laughing all the way to the bank I think, You still need a tablet or something to control spark properly.

I just bought a Hudl2 from tescos for £99.  That's my fully featured remote - not only can it input select, volume, etc it can control everything about the phantom that spark can such as enable disable bluetooth, and I can browse the delialet chat forums and watch YouTube videos on it :o

I am also a bit disappointed with the Branch's - MDF wood?  I was expecting all metal at that price point I thought that was the whole point of the branches is they acted as giant heatsinks, well not if they're made of wood they don't Sad

Hello Butuz

You're searching for a smartphone or tablet. There are many on the market.
I was looking only to adjust the volume ... I was bothered so far to quickly lower the volume when I received a phone call. This is now possible.  Wink

As for Branch, they are made of metal. The wood covers the metal. Why do you need (giant) heatsinks ?

Hi,

My answers to your questions :

- Length of Branch : 63 cm

- Phantoms are stuck in this support (marked in red). It is quite stable. If you want to drop them then you will attain it  Wink

- Yes, the yellow power cable from Phantom becomes obsolete

- Electric connections of Branch are under the base

- Yes, you control volume like opening/closing a jar (no screen on Remote and no "touch/slide")

- There are two batteries in Remote :

- About low battery signal :

- Remote's material is the same as Phantom (plastic ?)

- Dont' know how Remote connect to control volume... Huh

Wait, weren't they touting an e-ink display on the remote?

Info on the e-ink display is everywhere!  See example below:  (although I don't think "erganomy" is actually a word?)

http://hifilounge.co.uk/devialet-remote

"What Remote lives is instantly lived by Phantom. Remote shares Phantom’s ergonomy and technological requirements: it is equipped with a microprocessor controlling ultra reactive capacitive sensors, a 100 frames/second e-paper screen and an accelerometer."

So I can confirm you this is a mistake  Wink

There are lots of images of the remote with an e-ink display showing play, pause, next track, previous track and volume.  Like the ones here.

I would appreciate Devialet confirming the intended functionality of its phantom remote.  volume only is akin to fraud.

I have duo silvers (on oak stands) and a dialog.

That's just fakes...take a look at official Devialet store and you'll clearly see there's no possible doubt (https://store.devialet.com) :
Phantom Remote

Sleepy
I'm speechless...I really considered a phantom stereo system with branches, remote, dialoge
and I'm following this forum since then.

Besides good sound for the size this thing really doesn't have much else to offer.
It's unfinished software wise and the accesoires are not worth it.
