It is too complex.

Instead of an ethernet input, it should have a USB input (or several of them), so that users can plug in
USB sticks and/or hard drives with music, and a control app can select which album/files to stream.

Also, it should be designed in a way that eliminates the need for an  audio regen step.
too complex? its a renderer. it takes a lan input and has a usb output. its basically a dedicated pc with no unnecessary components in it whatsoever!!

and there is no way to eliminate the need for a regen - its helpful for almost every system.
I like the look of this. Combine with a reclocker and you could be off to the races!  Smile

Again, the designers of this device should design it, so that there is no need for a reclocker,
or for the reclockcer to be already built into the design of this device, in order to keep the path very short.
perhaps it should also be the amplifier.. and the speakers??

Yes, Devialet should add a module that will allow a user to plug in a USB stick or hard drive, and then
use the control app to select what to play from that usb stick / drive, eliminating the need for an external streamer!!!

Devialet, are you listening?
I want the Devialet to be an endpoint at most not a computer with a control app. There are many awesome software solutions out there already. Devialet just needs to fix their crappy Air implementation!!

I think this little device looks fantastic!!!
Very interesting, I'm going to follow the developments round this little device. Thanks for sharing completeluxury! Smile
