Thinking about it for a long time as I was not able to link with my Athom Zef Max.

Stock jumpers:

I think the quality of the stock jumpers was not consistent with the Athom Zef Max speaker cable, resulting in some harshness in the high frequencies and a lack of overall balance.

With the Qed XT 400 jumpers:

I retrieve a really pleasant tonal balance, I can play loud with no discomfort.
I need to carefully listen to my reference tracks to be sure I do not loose some details.

I'm really happy with this small low cost upgrade on the 805ds.
I've often heard about the jumpers replacement but also that the B&W jumpers were of good quality... but we can always find better Wink
My previous speakers were some Audiovector Si3 Avantgarde Arretes which I really enjoyed, but Audiovector were adamant that nothing could better the stock metal strips used to connect the binding posts. Their reasoning largely being they were the same material as the binding posts. Anyhow about a week before I sold the speakers I was unexpectedly loaned some Chord Sarum jumpers. The improvement was really significant. Just better everything. I was really surprised with the improvement and cursed myself slightly for selling the speakers.
I think stock jumpers are just ok with 'normal' speaker cables but with better cables we should at least try the speaker cable for the jumpers.
I will also try that but it was easier for me to purchase a Qed set than to make one with Athom Zef max...
I would recommend to connect your speaker cable to the same terminal (preferably both to treble) and then carry the jumpers to the other side, for better consistency.

Cheers...
Thanks Kunter.
If I remember B&W recommend to wire on the LF terminal.
Also 'diagonal' wiring can bring phase balance between bass & treble, many B&W users have adopted this method.
If I find time I will test it again Wink

I have Purist audio jumpers

And i didn't heard any notifiable difference when switched.

My question is regarding phase balance between bass & treble,
Is it important to do 'diagonal' wiring  in specific way like (+) always the LF and (-) always HF , or it doesn't matter.

How you done it guys ?
FYI, I did the diagonal wiring at the beginning when my speakers were brand new, it was better balanced that way.
Now I'm back to a regular wiring, to the LF first, I prefer that way now...
You can easily give a try to the different possibilities, I'm sure you will find the right combination.
Nordost advises another choice? As always YMMV...

Positive speaker cable to HF Pos, then jumper down to LF Pos.
Then Negative speaker cable to LF Neg - then jumper up to HF Neg.

Haven't tried it myself so I have no opinion on its effectiveness.

As you can see on the picture of my first post, this is what I've tried.
Nordost advise exactly vice versa , unless upper connection on B&W is LF?

Often, the very best results are achieved using a diagonal connection. This involves connecting the red cable to the bass/mid terminal and the black to the treble, with the jumpers arranged accordingly, bass to treble on the red (or +ve) side of the crossover, treble to bass on the black (or -ve) side. This is slightly more confusing to wire, however, with a little extra care and patience the results can be well worthwhile, and once you are familiar with bi-wiring procedures this often becomes the new default set up, offering greater air, transparency, dimensionality and subtlety.
