Hi Windler,
what kind of spikes are you using under your Ayons?
They don't seem to be the standard ones...
They came with the speakers ...
By the way since there are only 3 spikes the speakers are under risk of tilling .
So now I consider purchasing http://www.soundocity.com/Straight_End_1.50_Spikes.html
It will also need modification , meaning drill an hole on the center back bar so it will fit the back spike .

They look totally different to the spikes that were delivered with my Ayons...
Also had the impression that my Gyrfalcons were not very stable with the 3 spike solution so I asked a friend to build some "extensions" from solid steel.
Sounds great, looks great and is child proof!
Can you load a picture of it?
Sure!

Yep, heard them at the Munich audio show in a complete Ayon setup.
That was really amazing!
But a bit out of my financial range - just a bit...
Spike replacement

For a long time I am looking to improve my setup ... ֿ
Not because I lack something, simply audiophile kicking .
The last exhibition in Germany I even considered replacing my speakers to horn.
Long time ago friend told me about magnificent tweak  with  a huge improvement and even low cost.
I finally found the time to test it.

Townshend Audio Super tweeters!!!

I never thought that you can get such a huge improvement adding super tweeters.
I am aware that this modification is well known to Tannoy users & horn users .

There is a lot of information on the web   ...I wil just  comment Dave Clark  from positive-feedback :

I am not so sure you have really heard your speakers—or music!—until you try these. I thought I had my system clicking on all cylinders, but the addition of the Townshend Super Tweeters really opened my eyes to what I was missing, as well as hearing. How do these stack up against the competition? I haven't a clue, but from what I have heard, none are as easy to use. I bought my pair. Highly recommended.

I do not have much to add except that I bought a pair.
Highly recommended , No ... you must have it !!!
