Following our communication on the court-ordered reorganization of Qobuz Monday, November 9, 2015 (read here), we publish today an update about the situation of the company.
The deadline for submission of takeover bids has been postponed by the Official Receiver to Monday, November 23, 2015 at 15:00, due to the number of companies and people are being presented during the past week and have expressed interest in respect of a recovery Qobuz.
The winning bids will be subsequently reviewed by the Commercial Court of Paris.
The resumption of the company will be granted to the offer will be considered by the Tribunal as the best bidder.
The predictable schedule now is:
After a statutory period of 15 days from the deadline for submission of tenders, which therefore begin November 24, 2015, the final decision will be taken during an approximate time period between 10 December 2015 and the 10 January 2016 , according to the Tribunal proceedings.
In the meantime, the Qobuz service continues to operate normally.
We thank our customers whose solidarity was expressed in recent days by a record turnover. Their confidence requires us; it is also the single most concrete way to support us.
We also thank the petitioners - almost 7000! The support continues.
Similarly, we kindly thank all our partners keep their trust in our service and enable it to function normally - until recovery solution is formalized.
