As some of you may remember I brought a very early prototype of our dual-W2012-JPLAY-server with me to the meeting in Sweden. Meanwhile we have finished our research and the first three chassis system has been completed. We are using only the very best components for our system and our huge linear power supply was developed for this special purpose from scratch by a professional local company. We have also included the latest MUTEC reclocking system in our audio server and we are using the XLR-AES connection only.

The result is absolutely mind blowing and much better than anything we have experienced before. We have compared our source in an early stage with many available digital sources (including Aurender W20) and in combination with the Devialets the SQ is simply unbelievable. And since our last comparison our source has improved very much still...

I am on tour with this sample here in northern Germany once in a while and I am hopeful to have my dedicated 60m2 listening room ready for some serious listening tests in February. At that time I will exchange my WA Sasha 1 for some new speakers as well which will hopefully lift the emotional experince to another level.

So I invite everybody of this forum to visit me and listen to my setup from March 2016.

All I can say is that the local audiophiles who had the chance to listen to my source already were most deeply impressed and agreed that this source seems to have great potential.

Hi Jan, I've seen you make similar enthousiastic posts before but unfortunately you never provide the details. Would you care to share a comprehensive parts list and a list of the software used or a you preparing for some kind of commercial product release?

We are using nothing special except our LPS. The source uses INTEL XEON serverboards, JCAT reference cables, high grade FURUTECH and OYAIDE connectors and cables, STREACOM chassis, Windows 2012 R2, JPLAY in streamer mode, AO in core mode (set up to kernel streaming) and of course the brilliant MUTEC reclocking system. Also we are using PS AUDIO power regenerators and the very good sounding ARTESANIA racks (in fact one very significant item).

Connected to the DEVIALET via AES-XLR the sound is simply the best we have ever achieved over the last 30 years.

And yes, we will be offering complete sets and also all single items to interested audiohiles as we have already received several local inquiries. Whenever experienced audiophiles auditioned our prototype in their own high quality chaines they confirmed to us the huge improvement of the SQ compared to their existing sources of all price ranges. 

Moreover we are right now preparing a more affordable single chassis source too, which will also be equipped with a smaller version of our special LPS.

I believe the major advantage of our system is the very clean - better than battery (!) - linear power supply which includes SIX custom made toroidal transformers plus the integration of the MUTEC gear.

In the end it is that simple ;-)

I'm a little unsure what this device actually is. OK, I understand what it's for, but what I don't understand is if this is some kind of personal project, or if it is a prototype which is planned for mass / limited production and sale. Will we be seeing the In Dubio Pro Audio streamer in our local stores anytime in the future?
