If you long press the left remote button.
The display will show the bit rate you are running

So hopefully you can identify if its indeed being feed DSD

thing i may give this a go too so i can answer my own question Wink
Also (may be offending to remind it for some of you Wink ), you must run firmware 8.x to have DoP support on the USB (up to DSD64).
Actually all inputs can support DoP. Digital, USB and AIR

Not with AIR:

The entire Expert range is now compatible with the DoP protocol (DSD over PCM). This new feature is available through the USB input but also on the digital XLR input (AES/EBU), the TOSLINK optical input and all coaxial digital inputs (S/PDIF).

I've been using AIR to stream DSF music via DoP to my Le200. Don't just look at the specs. Toslink was supposed to support only 24/96 but I have successfully played 24/192 music files, too. Give it a try yourself.

the auther of the article suggested the following which worked and the QuteHD showed a 'purple' light that indicates its accepting DSD

Going through Steps 12 & 13 above but select ASIO4ALL under "ASIO Driver" for Step 14,
and "dcs marker 0x05/0xFA" under "DSD Playback Method" for Step 15.
Then perform Steps 16, 17 & 18.

Tried this last night and it indeed worked fine for playing DSD files via Foobar

note. step 14 didnt show ASIO4ALL ..in fact it didnt give me any options to choose from, however it still worked Big Grin
Thank you very much! I couldn't make it this week end, but I will try asap!
