Hi,

after several year of stacking hifi equipment I took the approach to downsize last year.
Fell in love with tube amps recently, so the Devialet will have to leave again...
However, I did not want to let it go without sharing some pics on this forum which was very helpfull (and entertaining) for me over the last couple of months!

Current setup consits of:

D200
Ayon Audio Gyrfalcon
Auralic Aries LE
Block PS100 with Soundsmith Carmen
All wired with HMS & Fisch Audiotechnik (mains) plus Kimber and Oyaide

Wow, that's lovely. I admire your cable-hiding!

+1 stunning!

Guillaume
Thanks!
Hiding the cables wasn't easy...
I built the back wall from MDF coverred with basotect and then put white leather like material on it.
That allowed openings for the cables where needed plus some indirect led lights behind...
Looks real nice, well done.

Brian

I actually fell in love with the Gyrfalcon the first time I heard them at a small audio show and picked mine up in Graz directly.
Your's are not bad at all either!
We also do have nearly the same amazingly high numer of votes for SAM...
Any chance of some closeup photos of the cabling / MDF / basotect.

Cheers,

Rik

Hi Rik,
Sure, will post some photos later today!
Hi again,

please find some pictures of wiring and backwall below.
No chance to get details of MDF & Basotect - it´s all coverred...
It's simply an MDF board 180 x 120 cm, 30 mm basotect glued on the surface and upholsterred with faux leathet (fabric would get dirty over time).
Wholes for the cables in the right places and acrylic glass mounted behind the Devialet to allow air circulation.
