Hi there!
i have a D120 with preamp out installed.I run the latest 8.1.3 firmware.I tried to connect the D to a pair of active speakers and use it as a preamp as i have no longer any passive speakers.Through the configurator i enabled the preamp output with variable volume and is enabled on all digital inputs too,but there is no sound at all.I tried multiple configurations 2 days now.On the information screen of the D the pre out seems to be installed and ON.The digital inputs seem to accept the signal from the sources but nothing from the pre out.
I am desperate!!Any ideas?Thanx in advance!

I'm having the same problem only with a headphone amp connecting to the pre-amp out. Devialet is trying to help but so far no solution. Did you solve your problem and if so, how?
Thanks
David
Hi,

same problem with my 400 - no Signal to the headphone-amp, if you make a change on an extisting configuration.

You can solve this issue by creating a complete new configuration - it will work than...

Hi Tom
Thanks for responding. Dev support has already created two new configs for me and I have tried as well. No luck. Maybe there is a bug at their end. It has been referred to their engineers but when I saw your earlier post I wondered if you had found something that so far, the Dev engineers have not.
Any other ideas or others who have had this problem? Otherwise the D400's are outstanding!

Hy David,

the solution with creating a complete new configuartion works well in the past - did not try it after the relaunch of the website...

And yes - the 400 is amazing, thanks...  Cool
I bumped into the exact same problem (only on a D220pro) a few weeks ago. I tried to change all kinds of configuration (also reverting to previous firmware versions) but still no sound from my AVR preouts into my D220pro line-in. I even tried with a 2nd AVR, different cables, etc. with the same result: no sound. Funny thing is that the same line entry works well with a different audio source (like my tablet). Hummm, I guess my only option is to get in touch with Devialet...
Can you guys who have these problems please take a screen shot of your configurations?

Also, this has been discussed a number of times on this forum so I will write a new thread on how I program my D. It's a little more cumbersome than some do it but I've never had an issue yet. I'm not saying anyone's doing anything wrong but it just could be that my method works.

Look out for a new post. It's titled 'How to configure your Expert. Pim's method'

What do you mean? screenshot of the devialet configurator or screenshot of the dp_cfg.txt file?

Le configurator please. I wouldn't know how to interpret the text file.
