Hi
Past year I've been using a Moon Mind180 with a AQ Coffee AES and a Teddy Pardo PS (Devialet 250). Been pretty happy, but always wanted a better Qobuz integration than AirPlay/iPad.

A couple of months ago Audirvana added Qobuz and an iPad app A+. So I dug out the Wireworld Supernova 6 and reconnected the Mac Mini directly via optical. Its a Mid 2011 Mini sever 16GB with an SSD main drive and second HDD for the media.

Surprised by the results. I simply can't distinguish between the two set ups, and either direct files or Qobuz streaming. If anything after a prolonged listen the Audivana set up is slightly less 'tiring'. More relaxed....but still plenty of detail and separation. Impressed.

I've never managed to get AIR stable and it still wont work.
Hi,

Just wanted to know if anybody has been playing with the up-sampling functionalities offered by Izotope converter included with Audirvana+ 2.3.3 and which settings, both in terms of sample rates, and in terms of filter setting, appeared to be the most adapted to Devialet internal DAC.

Thanks
I tried these. To be honest I've always had best results with leaving the resolution at the native setting. Up-sampling seems to add a degree of harshness.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Here (http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f11-so...post388559) is a thread of CA on the same subject. The link is pointing to a synthesis of possible settings in case someone is interested to try.
After some tests conducted yesterday, I reached the conviction that upsampling to the maximum frequency of 192kHz in Audirvana was a very appropriate solution for my system. It could well be related to the fact that I have a Mutec MC-3+ USB reclocker between the Mac and the Devialet.
What I understand from this observation, and from the reading of this article (http://www.soundstage.com/gettingtechnic...200311.htm), is that upsampling on the Mac and jitter removing through reclocking, produce a clean signal into the Devialet, avoiding any resampling in the integrated DAC.
Results in terms of musicality are superb.
I kept very basic settings for the iZotope filter, as described in Audirvana manual.
