There seems to be a proliferation of Phantoms on Ebay at the moment, many of them with little or no information usually from sellers with very little feedback. It seems that the conmen have decided that the Phantom is excellent bait to lure the poor unsuspecting.

Some of the devices may Be genuine... Bought with fraudulent credit cards..
When I was buying my fourth phantom.. I was told by devialet that they have changed the distance purchase procedure due to several fraudulent purchases... They now require a photo ID plus partial image of Credit card.... When purchasing by phone etc...
But buying off eBay is at your own risk... Even for basic support...
The words 'do not touch' and 'bargepole' spring to mind.
