Hey,
i am having some trouble with my Expert 200 and Roon.
I am using a htpc as player for 2 configs:
  • Stereo Setup: HTPC -> Roon -> Devialet USB ASIO Driver -> Devialet Expert 200 with USB
  • Multichannel: HTPC -> Plex -> Windows HDMI -> Yamaha RX-A3040 -> Devielet Expert 200 as Amp for the Front
I am asking this here because at the roon forum there arent so many devialet users.

Everything works fine when during firering up of Roon the devialet is on with USB selected.
when the devialet is already on with Line-In for example and Roon is running too the problems are starting.
befor playback i switch to USB entry. When i then try to start a song i get an error.

Does anybody else use Roon here and has similar issues?

Thanks a lot!

Roon's ASIO implemention doesn't get along with the Devialet ASIO driver very well.  I've worked with Roon on it, but it's near impossible for them to fix or even understand the problem without actually have an expert box in shop.

Have Roon use the WASAPI driver instead, it should behave better.
So i am using the WASAPI driver now and this works way better. Thanks.
