Devialet Chat

I just downloaded a great DSD track on highresaudio. When configuring in the Audiosetup to handle DSD as DoP, I only hear white noise. When setting Roon to handle DSD as "Convert to PCM" it works and looks like this:

The D200 is capable of DSD64 via USB, so y isn't it working? Other settings I have for D200 is Exclusive Mode enabled, volume control disabled, max sample rate disabled, resync delay set to 500ms.

What is the firmware on your Le200? Le200 with the latest firmware can support DSD64 on all inputs including AIR.

You're losing bit perfect transmission somewhere in the chain.

Do you have the volume of the USB output set to 100 in Windows? Disabled all the enhancements like shown here: http://technicallyeasy.net/2010/09/how-t...windows-7/

Doesn't Roon offer you the ASIO output for the Devialet? (the screenshot shows you're using WASAPI)

- I have the most recent Le200 Firmware
- USB volume is set to 100 in windows
- All enhancements in Win10 disabled
- Tried both WASAPI and ASIO

Still not working. Any further ideas?

I've only used DoP DSD on a Mac a handful of times but never seen white noise.

Does the signal chain in Roon say DSD64 is going out and the purple light on?
And if you hold the source button on the Dev remote does it display DSD64 for the white noise?

You've definitely got DoP set? (not meaning that in a condescending way)

Did you try a different source file? You could test with some free samples from here for example, I know these work in my setup: https://www.oppodigital.com/hra/dsd-by-davidelias.aspx

Also is that resync delay the default? (I left mine default but can't access settings as Im not home)

I thought DSD on the Dev is only via DoP? And limited to DSD64. I use it all the time via HQP NAA and Roon.

Apparently restarting Roon did the trick. It works with ASIO. But why doesn't work with WASAPI?

Nevertheless DSD is apparantly crushing my home network.

My NAS is stored in a closet and due to missing Ethernet connectivity, I am using Devolo Power Lan successfully since 5 years without any hickups. I even stream 20gb BluRay movies from the CLoset to my TV without any problems.

Now, when I play the DSD it works fine but after that my Powerlan just gives up and flashed red, which means that it cannot establish any connection to my NAS via PowerLan. Only a restart of the NAS and Plug-out/Plug-in of the Devolo helps to resolve this issue.

Does anyone understand this? It is a pain really...
