Today I decided to try the Roon.  So far so good, it has taken barely half an hour to download, set up and get music playing together with iPad control.  However, I am not totally sure that I have the optimum audio settings.  See screenshots below.

Would someone be kind enough to confirm this is the optimum settings for a PC / AIR?   (Or confirm that I've got something wrong somewhere)

I have exactly the same settings - it sounds great (until AIR craps out)
@Confused, set your DSD mode to DoP. Try installing Fidelizer Free version, too.
I noticed you have JPlay too. You can use JPlay with AIR. Just set in your JPlaysetting when Roonserver not running.
Thanks for the input guys.

Gary, I already have Fidelizer, which works fine for me, although I haven't tried it with Roon yet. It's already sounding good, so any Fidelizer related improvement would be a bonus.

As for JPlay, I did play around with it briefly a while ago but wasn't 100% sure what I was doing to be honest, so I kind of gave up and forgot about it. I'll give this another try when I have a bit of free time and find myself in the mood for tweaking.

As for DSD, I have a grand total of zero DSD music files so I wasn't looking that carefully at the settings for DSD playback! I will revise the settings though, just in case and for future use. (I do have a small number of SACD's, but they are not ripped)

Cheers for the tips!
I'm not familiair with Fidelizer. What would it do/ad? Will it work on an Mac?
@KraaijCheck - Fidelizer only works for people running Windows operating system. It attempts to optimize the number of processes running on the computer.
I did try fidilizer yesterday but when fidelizer was on I couldn't get sound out. What might be wrong? Computer is connected via ethernet to D250.
Perhaps it shut down the air program or you chose a setting that killed networking. I wouldn't advise anyone who doesn't know how computers work to use this type of software, especially if they use the computer for other things than music playback.
I'm certain I've read multiple threads stating Roon didn't work at all with Exclusive Mode and Air? You have to use non exclusive.

Or maybe that's an OSX issue. Sooooooooooo many AIR issues it's hard to keep track of them anymore!
