A dear friend of mine makes them in India & sells ...

If you need 'em, pls PM.   Smile
Very very nice looking !

The room looks nice, and the 802D3 in white look fabulous

Fantastic system Cool !

Finally you got your system in place after some mis-hap in the past that your ol speakers got damaged correct?.

I always liked B&W as a company. Given budget constraints I was looking for 804s before I purchased KEF 203 at 50% discount.
Nice to see a lovely comfortable room with few reflective surfaces and speakers well away from walls. Not many people can do that!
I bet it sounds fabulous. IME the speakers, their position in the room and the room acoustics are the 3 most important aspects in getting great sound (yes, including the amp...)

You are absolutely correct ... April 25th, 2015, the devastating Nepal earthquake wiped out my beloved B&W Matrix 802-series 2, Power amp, preamp DAC & CD Transport. It was shocking to see 'em all go in front of my eyes in less than 30 seconds ...

This is the replacement ...

Yes ... the electronics are simple and done differently ... keeping the Home Minister (wifey) happy with her decor !!

Hi there ...

Appreciate your post.

Indeed, I worked very hard to carefully find the "right" spot to park the 802s ... And so far, they're doing well ...

But am still watching the results & am open to small changes ...

I worked at some absorption, some reflection & medium diffusion to get a wonderfully airy, open 3D kinda sonics from this setup. The low bass depth is indeed very much there (when its in the music) ...

The speakers have been slightly tilted UP to increase the sense of air ...

And having spent almost 30 yrs now with B&Ws certainly helped to achieve what I desired.

Thanks again !!
