I will be forced unwilingly to visit a local tavern tomorrow.  If they have some, I'll try it!
Devialet combines perfectly well with any good Argentine Malbec red, too...

I have tried this!  Argentinian wine is very popular in the UK at the moment, which is a good thing I think considering the history between our countries (Maradona's 'hand of god' will never be forgotten!)

But I can confirm the synergy between Devialet and Argentinian Malbec, it is a wonderful thing!

Curiously, this fine wine is served in the restaurants at Newbury Racecourse, which is the home of the 'Hennessy Gold Cup', one of the U.K.'s top 'classic' national hunt races.  Hennessy is owned by LMVH, the backers of Devialet, surely not a coincidence?
Hennessy! Now we're talking. Beats a good whiskey anytime.  Smile

Cognac with Od'A?  That'll do nicely! Shy

I'm going to have to convince myself that you can't listen to such an expensive amp whilst just drinking VSOP. It will have to be XO. Hennessy XO is my favourite drop but since I don't work overseas anymore and have to pay full duty on it, it's a bit OTT price wise.  Sad
VSOP?  Maybe with a single white Phantom, but with an O'dA????  Sacrilege! Angry
You're right. I will forward this thread to my wife and tell her to up her game when she goes grog shopping.
Sometimes if I want something nice and easy without going too hard I like a Sloe Gin (McHenry's from Tassie doing a really nice one), but here in Australia if you say you fancy a Sloe 'Gin' people will give you a really funny look (Gin can take on a very different meaning here in Oz  Rolleyes)
