AFAIK dCS don't make an amplifier, so no comparison feasible there.
Used as a digital source for the Devialet the dCS streamer was superb at the last demo, with upsampling sounding better, for some reason.
My old dCS player sounded better if upsampling was disabled when playing CDs.

Besides, 800Pro does not exist. It is either an 800 or 1000 Pro
