It´s all on their upgrade page on devialet.com. If you do not have the big box to combine they will send you one. I wrapped it in packing paper with some duck tape to speed up the process and not to wait for the outer box.
I am sure I read on the upgrade program that if you did not have the original boxes that they would send them to you.

Ok, this is the fastest way to do it as I only miss the big box. Thanks for the answers.

Exact same scenario here. They do check to see if you have the black box, the overpack (cardboard outer boxes), and the group package (which is the bigger cardboard box that holds both units). I assume if you indicate any of the required boxes missing they send you the necessary boxing materials along with the shipping label.

What happens next?

Within a few days, you will receive a UPS label, along with casing and cardboard box so your Expert reaches our workshop safely.

First observations;
- Packaging is exquisite, as usual. Really feels premium.
- It looks brand new, but I know it's mine because there is a mark on the case.
- I've got a different remote - the one I sent away what white, and I now have a black one. The movement seems lighter, too.
- It ships with a really nice looking power cable - Audioquest NRG X. I'll be using my Transparent cable, but really nice to having something better than the normal bog standard power cable.

I'll be spending the rest of the morning hooking it up and burning it in. Will do a more in-depth review over the next day or so.

Oz

Can't wait to hear what you think of your 250Pro. I've got a pair of D-Premiers and am waiting for the upgrade programme to start here in Oz (got to assume the Oz in your username doesn't mean you live in Oz, just an expat overseas maybe).

Realise you want to let the burn-in process take it's time, but waiting with bated breath to hear your thoughts  Big Grin

Enjoy your new (upgraded) toy  Tongue

Hi Celts

I've posted in the Devialet Pro SQ  thread. Long story short, it's great :-)
Boy oh boy, I hope my labels and box arrive soon!
I got (eventually) an empty box by UPS and 20 minutes later an e-mail with a label for printing. The UPS booking contact number for the collection of the amps takes you to an automated mutiple-choice system.

One of the early questions is something like "Do you have a UPS account?". Well, I don't but Devialet do, but I was not sure which number on the label was Devialet's.

I think it might be R84761.

The other thing which caught me out, and left me in a queue to speak to a live person, was that I gave my UK telephone number including the initial 0 208 for a London code, when the number on the label (of course) began +44 208. This meant that the automated system could not trace the order.

It all worked out in the end.
To speed the process up you can bring the package to the next shop with UPS-Station
UPS pick it up in the afternoon and within 24 hours it arrives at Devialet.....from Germany
And it takes 8 working days until it is back
So - I've bitten the bullet and sent them (D400 to become D440) in to the dealer - hopefully picked up by UPS tomorrow.....
