I am in the US, they added sales tax onto my order as well.

@miles - I don't see anywhere on the site where it indicates that Devialet is paying taxes on my behalf.

Dunno how it works in the US, so not sure if applicable to you, but when the amps are returned, i will be liable for import duties/customs  and vat- on the upgrade.
It is these taxes that Devialet are covering (included in the upgrade price).

@miles - so basically the set price they charge you for the upgrade covers those fees in Europe. I guess in the States, since the sales tax varies by state they decided to take an alternative approach. I wish they have used an all inclusive price here.

I'm in South Africa but our taxation system is similar to theirs.
Wish I could order this upgrade now, but their online store has been down ever since I received the upgrade invitation.

Miles - odd it is down for you. I am able to access it without issue, even now. Are you using Safari, Google or some other browser? Maybe it is a regional thing?

Hopefully you will be able to access it soon, I know how frustrating that can be.

its a regional server issue - i have made them aware of the problem.

I and I would presume other member hope that is correct, it would be great if Devialet  replayed to one of my Emails
and confirmed it.
