They appear to have managed to wear through the chrome coating during the repolishing  Angry Angry

I've got a pic to post, but need to find somewhere to host it first...

here we go

...Geez....is it at the top ,side ?.....i do not like seeing this....

Sad
Yeah, the top side, right in the middle, almost where the pin would be if it was a 12" LP

I'll take another picture tomorrow, I tried to get a more zoomed out picture this evening, but it was dark outside and the spotlights in the flight are not conducive to good photos of mirrors!

Already been in touch with my dealer and they have promised they will get it sorted, so watch this space..
Just to give some update on my Le250 upgrade fiasco....here i am going into the 4 th week after my unit being delivered to the factory...
Here we go again Devialet falling behind they own promises....don't we all love it ! Just to "sweeten up" the whole story ,looks like quality of this refurbishing program is not up there....just look at the post above. ....If someone is giving you any promises and failing to deliver ( even partially) used to be called Lie !
Very very disappointed.....and please do not forget how much you paid for it (lies) to begin with....
Hello All,

Our D's arrived late last night on a very cold winter evening and the brain trust UPS driver just left what is essentially a $20000 USD product at the front door.  Wow!  Wonder how that would play out if someone walked way with it.
Luckily our neighbour could keep a eye out til we could madly race home in the car.
So straight out of the box and as cold as ice the scale of the improvements wrought by this upgrade were just so immediately apparent and so very significant.  In fact I'm surprised at the general tenor of the review comments posted here.  I see some very enthusiastic reviews but the general tone seems to me to be moderate; pleased but restrained and some even not too pleased with the upgrade.  That is just baffling to me.
At the risk of a making a declarative statement that my raise the ire of some, I maintain that if this upgrade is not immediately and overwhelmingly positive you have problems up or downstream in your system.
We heard tonal definition, stunning musical separation in complex orchestral threads (overture to Figaro), air, fierce musical energy and highly articulated bass warmth and slam (and all those audio nutbar goodies ) beyond our expectations. Our speakers had an organic warmth and graded texture we never heard in the past.  The bass and guitar slam of a great old Tony Joe White swamp music song just sang with joy and musicianship.   I could go on but the highest thanks and congratulations to Devialet for this upgrade and for a making it available to current owners.
WDW
I haven't posted on this thread, as I didn't want to get involved in the various logistical debates, and I had not heard a Pro amp. But as a few other members know, I did decide to make the leap and upgrade from the D120 to the D220 Pro. However I can now comment on both.

I placed my order on 11 November. The emailed paperwork arrived on 18 November. The amp was picked up at 3:30 pm on the 18th and was back in my hands at 1:30 pm on 07 December. No scratches, dents or disappointments. The door-to-door time time was 20 days, including the dates of pick-up and delivery. Devialet's turn around was faster than expected and faster than their estimate. Similar to the experience of Wdw, the delays and confusions were all on the part of UPS. Thanks here to BrianT for his advice regarding Canadian customs paperwork requirements; he knows more than UPS does about shipping in and out of Canada.

I will report on the sound quality in another thread, but I agree completely with Wdw: stone cold, out of the box, the difference is clear, complete, immediate and dramatic. I absolutely did not expect a change of this magnitude or quality. And yes, it is good.

If it is within the realm of the possible....do it!!!   Can't imagine a negative.  I know there is expectation bias but we heard nuance that we hadn't imagined nor expected.
