I am actually fed up with Spark.

- Top left of the window is an arrow to go backward  ; no arrow to go forward ? Why ?
- Scrolling bar in the left menu in less than 2mm wide.
- Scrolling bar to navigate in a track is less than 1,5mm high ; color does not change to indicate you are pointing on the right area.
- Characters are less than 2mm high. (15,6" laptop Full HD)
- Can you imagine this software working on a 4K screen ?
- I resize the window every time I open spark ; no memory of the place and size it was before.
- Thumbnails of albums in the left pane are 6mm large !!! Cannot even recognize the original picture...
- And what about this ridiculous volume scrolling bar that cannot even work with the mouse wheel like on any decent software ?
- no memory of the previous setting of volume ; it always starts at 35% using wifi and 70% using BT. I had some very bad surprises late in the evening due to those settings...
- How can I read a CD or a .cda track ? Is it possible ?
etc... etc...

IS THERE ANY SOFWARE TO REPLACE THIS SPARK POS ???

I used Zoom player for video and music and, if you need or want, everything can be set exactly as you want. Unfortunately, it only works when using BT.

I'm using Sonos Connect to play music through my phantoms via dialog.  I positioned the dialog as close to my electrical panel as possible so that I can move the phantoms from my basement to the patio as needed.  Additionally, the Sonos connect is being used as an ethernet-wfi bridge since I didn't have an ethernet connection from the electrical panel to my router.  I'm thrilled with this setup.
Have you shared your feedback with Devialet?

I agree about a lot of what you mention, and have had (un)pleasant surprises myself with the default volume of 70 when used with some BT adapters. I say some because I don't have that issue when connecting my Mac Mini to my Phantoms via BT. I only saw it when using an external BT adapter for some reason.

I have, but i'm not sure they even understood what I was saying.  I'm hoping they'll see the light and focus on what they're good at and partner with other companies for the remaining pieces of their wireless speaker platform.
Hi Kameraguy,

Sharing with Devialet ??
What can I expect ? If there is a solution, it will come from the forum and certainly not from them...

I needed 2 months to achieve the BT setup and many thanks to the forumer who gave me the solution.

Here is the answer from devialet after more than 2 months and 10 messages, after going to the store in Paris and after giving them my computer for tests and after having been told that it should be solved at the next update (in september) :

" Despite we know about the bug you encounter, no modification was made on our BT chip. At this time, we cannot tell you when it will be done. "

Can you believe that ? Can you really expect any help after such a message ?

So, I come back to my problem ; is it possible to replace spark ? is it possible to read .cda tracks with spark ?

@ njaiswal
I'll go for inquiring about "Sonos connect" on the net. Hi-Fi music with computers is new and difficult to me...
I set up a full Sonos system a few weeks ago for my brother. It's a piece of cake. For ease of use I can certainly recommend it.
