Hi all,

Me and my wife are after 3 weeks croatië on camping thalkirchen in munich. Friday and saterday we will visit hifi exh. With our electric bikes. Contact maybe nice: 06 359887. Who is were?

I won't be in Munich, but I'll be in Venice in 10 days. I'll hunt down the pavilion with the Devialet supported sound exhibit. Be a good way to practice my audio-related Italian.

Well, that's just bad timing on your part; I would have bought the first round, or even two. That said, you may be arriving when the weather finally gets good. The bad timing on my part is that I'm leaving just as the weather gets good.... Typical for me. But three weeks in Italy is not a bad trade off.

Hope all the travellers have smooth flights and friendly border guards.

Oh bug*** it, missing those drinks already. We actually leave the U.K. next Tuesday for Vancouver, so hope weather is good when we arrive. We have been to BC on 4 previous occasions and have had fantastic weather every time - hoping to maintain that record!

Anyway enjoy Italy - terrific food and wine .

All those in Munich also have a great time.

Absolutely no sign of Devialet anywhere which seems really odd given that so many other brands are here. 

Spent a few hours yesterday visiting some of the rooms and listening to gear. It's always difficult to evaluate hi-fi under show conditions since in so many cases the room acoustics are compromised, not to mention background noise coming from other rooms. It can also be difficult to get a decent sitting position so a little perseverance is required.

So far the room which has impressed me the most is the Soulution one. Here's a pic of the setup:

This is a first for me since this is the first time I have heard Soulution sounding quite so good. And I mean REALLY good. Mind blowingly good. Let's not forget to mention the new Rockport Cygnus speakers too, hardly top of the range Rockports but boy do they image well!

A lot of effort went into room treatment, as you can hopefully see in the pics.

Looks pretty amazing, given Solution pricing, guess the cost is too!

Shame about Devialet, really don't understand why they're not there.

My spies tell me that Devialet are very busy having further discussions regarding streamer boards and NDA's with the Roon guys.  Over a nice plate of foie gras, of course.
