a few days ago my Dialog started with orange blinking. I contacted Devialet service and the responded the next morning.

This kind of blinking refers to a failure in network connecting. They asked to double check my internet connection. So I did and nothing wrong, which I reported back.

Devialet offered an exchange of the Dialog (within the 2-year warranty period).
So I contacted my dealer for the exchange which happened today.

All this happened within 4 days and I think Devialet did well !

But what if it happens after the warranty?
Aad, that's a good question. I guess that it will be like all warranty aspects: period over, pay for repair/buy a new one. There is no lifetime warrenty...

Pay for repairs? My experience is that repairs outside the warranty is not repaired by Devialet. You must purchase a new product.
Aad, that is exactly what I wrote. What do you expect, a lifetime repair option ? Can you tell me where to find that in this world ?
I guess that we can agree about the lack of information from Devialet (in general and specific round repairability). But said that I think, as a consumer/buyer we have a kind of investigaton duty. Commercial advertisent is not intended to inform us well but to urge us into buying.
And talking about repair-aspect, did you ever thought about the software updates that can completely change behaviour, functionality, sound etc.; and not a fallback procedure !

So, there is a lot to improve. Will it ever happen, I do not think so. Making/selling things mostly ends in just a way to make money which leaves us with more of less empty hands.
For now I'm enjoying the sound of my Dialog/Phantoms the way they are...

Why so negative !
Johnnydev, why do think I'm so negative, realistic is the word.
In the two years that I own the Dialog/Phantoms there is very slow development/updating. Bringing out new product seems to be priority. Selling brings more money in which they need to servive as a company to exist. Forgetting your early customers (not or slow updating failures, functionality in the Spark program, lack of backup facilities etc, please do not look away from that) forces me back from optimism to realism.

and ofcourse I see Devialet improvement (eg customer service) but...
