From the ROON spec - "[Image: 52017roon4.jpg] streams from Devialet Air.
ROON and Devialet finally talking????

So I'm guessing I could Ethernet this to my router and stream over wifi to my Devialet and replace my MacBook Air?
Looks like it has an external 19v power supply too.
I noticed this on the Roon forum, posted by Roon's Danny Dulai in response to a question asking why he was planning to visit Paris after the Munich show.  Made me chuckle I have to say:

"I have an apartment in Paris... my wife is from here. I am usually in NYC and my office and gear are all there, but it's a good pitstop to get some rest before heading back to work. This week has been very demanding and I'm not as young as I once was!
As for Devialet, we often talk to them. We are all friends"
I have an Intel NUC (£175 second hand) which does exactly the same job. It works seamlessly with AIR
It's just a NUC in a fanless case (linear PSU will become a future option) targeted at non cost conscious people who'd like to buy such a device in a HiFi store. Really nothing special. Everyone else can of course DIY one themselves or ask any computer retailer to build a NUC into a fanless case.

The fanless case of the Nucleus looks nice. I wish there would be nice looking fanless cases for NUCs but most of them are not-so-nice impressive. I do not want to call them ugly, but there is a room for improvement in the looks. What fanless case options do we actually have for an i7 NUC? At least most from Akasa have been designed only for i3 and i5, except the Galactico which looks "interesting"  Big Grin
