Haven't tried it for quite a while and stuck it on to tame the bass down at higher volumes, and it seems to do just that.

Maybe there's a bit of peak at the high end - but could just be the lack of bass masking what was already there (mine have quite. abit of bloom due to positioning)

Anyway - sounds more than listenable and great to my ears now

Maybe they fixed it while working on the fabled EQ?

I have also noticed this. The bass does not cut out quite as much and it doesn't sound so empty sounding. I can hear all of the frequency range quite well and also at low volumes I can hear the full range. It does not bring the house down, but it is much more listenable than before. Just as I expect from a Night Mode function.

Hopefully one day the EQ dream will come true!
