I'm a recent purchaser of two Phantom Gold's, and things are going well so far - except for autoswitch, which doesn't seem to be working at all. I'm running the latest firmware on all devices, and autoswitch is enabled for one of my phantoms, that is connected to the TV via optical. Both phantoms are connected via ethernet (via seperate powerlines I have).

If I play something from my Iphone for example using Airplay, then stop the song - and then go to watch TV, the input refuses to change. I need to go into Spark and press the play button, for the live TV source. Has anyone experienced this, or know of a solution ?.

That is a bug in the Airplay implementation I believe. Does the same thing happen if you use Spotify or a radio station as an input?
Yes, it's the same for both Airplay and Spotify connect. I stop the music, and switch in the TV - but it never auto switches.

Strange, have you tried to reset the Phantom?
Shouldn't be like that, at least for spotify (I hate airplay so I never use it). I don't even have to stop spotify, as soon as there's signal from the optical to the phantom (or dialog) it switches over for me (ie. I turn the TV on). This has worked fine for me regardless of PLC, Ethernet or WiFi (currently optical->one Phantom and WiFi from dialog).

Try doing a reset as suggested by ragwo, personally I do so after each update.

i have the same issue - my auto switch feature has not worked for some time.

when you suggest a reset, what procedure do you actually go through?
Either you can use spark and chose to wipe your configuration (that's what I usually do). But you can also reset your Phantoms (as well as the dialog) manually. Don't have the exact times in my head, I'll see if I can find the link on the Devialet web site.

I have never done it the way they suggest myself, but I know other here has.
My system has begun having this same problem recently. Both the optical input on the Phantom(s) and the one on the Dialog will fail to auto-switch after being left alone for some time. I've submitted multiple reports to Devialet, but so far no one has even bothered to respond.

Note that this is a different problem from the "Auto-switch lowers the volume to 35" issue mentioned here: https://devialetchat.com/showthread.php?...uto+switch Now it's simply failing to auto-switch at all.

I believe a full reset will fix your problem.
