Yes, SAM it´s already available for the Sonus Faber Tradition (Guarneri, Serafino and Amati).
We just need to try and decide.
Yeah, I noticed that the other day...

I also just read that you have Guarneri Traditions with Pro 220. So, what do you think? SAM, or SAM off? Smile

Thanks.

p.s. - I haven't listened to the Traditions, yet. Or any of the Homage versions. Only Olympica I.
I'll listen to the Guarneri Traditions (nearby dealer only has the standmounts) sometime this year. But, I think I'll want the Amati T. (edit: I already want them!, shiiet...)

Have you heard the whole Tradition line? If yes, can you share your thoughts, please? And reason for choosing the Guarneri over the towers?

Thanks!

Hi, Dvit,
I like them with SAM on 50%, for now. I say for now because thy´re just in the break in period and i´m moving for another house. another room and maybe i´ll need to change.
I heard the Amati Tradition and the Guarneri, but i´m a bit full of big and fat sound, i´m used to the old Extrema and that´s my kind of sound, and the Guarneri sound much like. A bit less of bass, but very detailed and impressive sound considering the speakers size.
I had a very bad experience with floorstand speakers, with the Olympicas lll. That influenced me.
And that´s it.
What do you have at the moment?

... and much chepear then the Amatis.
Thanks, BoyScout

What I have at the moment doesn't even count. It's a 15+ yo bookshelf micro system from Philips. Not bad..., but I only live once, and I'm itching for a "lifetime" system.

Were you already in possession of the Pro 220, when you decided to get the Guarneris? Wondering what completed your system...the Guarneris, or the Devialet.

Have you tried the G with subs?

I like many types of music, and bass music is one of them...

Thanks!

Sorry for this late answer, but i´m being a bit busy.
My first try with the 220 Pro was the Olympica´s lll and didn´t like at all, and when i tried the G´s i realize that´s my kind of sound.
I haven´t the same size but a lot more of detail and separation. I´ll move to a different house, very different room and then maybe a possible lack of bass justifies a sub. We´ll see.
Cool! Good luck! Thanks. Smile
