One of dealer from Audiogon told me actually the new D1000 after 25th September will have the new os pre-installed so no need for upgrade . What do you think? Fake news to sell his goods?

It is possibly true, but without pictures to prove it I am doubtful. On the other hand you never know with Devialet...
It's true. New delivery from DEV Expert from now have all the new OS-board

How do you know? Did you just buy brand new D1000?
If that is true, then why in the world is Devialet still not being specific about what the new OS board brings to the table? Hopefully, that will happen soon.

I guess a lot of the functionality is software dependent so the ones being shipped now may not have all the things announced. Anyway, this is good news as it suggests that the hardware is ready on time so we shouldn't expect any big delays for getting upgrades. ?

Well, Devialet being Devialet I'd expect the hardware to be ready, or at least not too delayed. But the software.....
From October 17 Devialet start the program for installing the OS board on already delivered units. So I do not see a reason why not units delivered from the factory after Sept 25 shouldn’t have the board installed.
