Some of my listening is in a small room which for some reason, really absorbs bass.
Just now testing a Sonos system for a different application than the Phantom. Of course, the Sonos is not as high resolution, doesn't get as loud nor is it reach as low though the Sonos Sub is part of the group. However, the Sonos allows a rudimentary EQ and that makes a world of difference in my room.
Now that its' been a while since I asked the question - anyone else have suggestions for integrating EQ in the process with the least intrusion on Phantom's audio quality? I really like the fact that I can stream Spotify or Tidal directly from their software without needing an extra box or DAC.
Thanks.

If you use Roon, your could use the Parametic EQ.
Marcner,
Thanks. I am not aware that Roon is now Phantom capable. May I ask how you are getting Roon with your Phantoms?
Thanks.

I'm using Sonos Connect with my Phantoms to give me a basic EQ. I found that without it the phamtoms sounded dull in my rooms.

Thank you!
Does Airplay provide as good a quality as using Spark directly?
And does Airplay work for Windows laptops or is it just an Apple laptop thing?
Sorry for my ignorance?

I have not critically A/Bed Spark and Roon through Airplay, but they sound equally good to my ear. I am using Roon on A Nuc with Roon ROCK. Airplay works for me, so I am reasonable sure it would work on a Windows laptop. Hopefully one day Diavalet with update Phantoms to support RAAT which would be the best way to connect with Roon.
