(I think you would probably need to be based in the UK to understand this one, but let's just say that referenda and general elections seem to be occurring at a similar arrival rate to Audiophile Ethernet switches at the moment)
That on actually made it half way around the world. You would be surprised how much we talk about the mother land down here.
Right, that's enough of Brexit on this thread. My fault I know, but it is very off topic. Although I do wonder how Brenda from Bristol can make it all the way to Australia only using "normal" Ethernet switches, rather than the superior audiophile variants?
(One of my occasional "objectivist" moments there....)
Anyway, back on topic. I started this thread way back in April 2018, with the comment "My bet, the Uptone switch is expected to be under $500 and I think it might just prove to be the best of the bunch. Time will tell."
OK - The $500 price tag has gone up a little, but the "time will tell bit has now arrived". It looks like the first EtherRegen's have now shipped, and a "listening impressions" thread has started, see link below. Such has been the excitement and fever surrounding the Uptone launch, I was fully expecting to read lots of glowing reviews from the early adaptors, that's just how it is. I expect the more considered and sober reports will come in time. Meanwhile, some interesting reading, and yes, it does look positive so far.

So who is going to be first to attach one to a Devialet and report back?
Plus, it would be very interesting if someone were to set up a blind test of one of these devices against a "normal" switch, or maybe one of the other more expensive "Audiophile" offerings.

I go attach my etherregen to my phantom golds and i am on the first batch, shipping this week

If my etherREGEN comes next week I can connect it to my Phantom
I doubt it will make it that much better......
Batch 1 international orders will indeed be shipped next Wednesday!
I said I would post an updated system diagram here. Just updated it and will post 3 since I took so long
Current setup:

Setup when the etherREGEN is installed. I am thinking about replacing the current music server+NUC with one single machine in which the JCAT network card would be installed. Perhaps in the near future.

Now if only AIR/RAAT would be stable and sound as good (perhaps it will, don’t know right now!) and anything upstream of the etherREGEN would not matter in any way it would be possible to simplify my setup massively

@
Antoine dont the simplified version look really tempting
My set-up with the etherRegen will be like this.

My gut feeling tells me that you will still prefer the USB / AES connection over RAAT ...
I'm going to be way down the track, some time in January, since my order is in the queue for the 3rd production run. At the moment all I can do is wait and read everyone else's listening reports.
