My current setup: Modem-->router-->bluesound node 2--(optical cable)-->phantom golds

Use Roon and Tidal 99% of the time.

My question is, in the above setup, would a separate power supply make a difference? If so, which device should be hooked up to a power supply?
If the digital components are working, you can't improve on that. The Phantoms are the only thing with analogue parts, and you can't change their power supplies. So stick with what you have.

I use an Sbooster BOTW 12V Linear PSU on my modem, which gives an obvious boost in SQ to music that I stream from Tidal and internet radio stations.

You claim that you use it while streaming? And it makes a difference? Then the whole internet doesn't work. Sadly for you, I was able to post this reply.
I’m not going to get into an argument with you. I hear a difference, you cannot disprove that. Have you tried it? Are you qualified to comment?
I am using an Sbooster 12v Linear PSU on my switch and can hear a clear difference. Highly recommended.

You are right Axel, i have sboosters on my modem, router and my switch and the improvement was on that order, the biggest on my modem.
I had a try period of 14 days with money back.
The improvement is big and also from my 4K TV.

If people says it is not possible and have not tried it, they don’t can talk about it.

I say to everyone just try it and send them back If it gives not an improvement.

How easy can it be!!

And yes, my ears are better then my englisch :-)
