Hello everyone,

I'm creating my first post here in attempts to successfully set up my two Phantoms and Dialog for our Soft Opening this Monday.
These speakers will be placed in a rolled ice cream shop:

Here are my plans for how they are placed:

I assume the most reliable way to run this would be via ethernet, but please let me know if not.
We (Devialet Support) and I attempted to pair the Phantoms by following the standard WiFi/Dialog method, however, we were unable to get anything to work. Devialet said this was due to the security setting on my router/modem that is provided by my internet provider. I have my internet provider's technician scheduled to be on site tomorrow morning to assist with setting things up. I'm hopeful we can work through any issues by tomorrow as I won't have their support over the weekend, and we'll be opening for customers Monday.

With that said, if you have any recommendation on how to improve this current setup or useful tip or tricks, please let me know so I am able to show my customers what quality sound is all about!  Smile
I had encountered a similar problem last year in my basement, and ended up connecting through ethernet without any issues. Good luck!

Glad to hear. Are you able to explain what you did to hook everything up?
I would think I would run the Dialog ethernet cable to my switch which would also have each Phantom ethernet connected (here's my quick sketch: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QpQivw4...sp=sharing )

I did the exact same thing as your sketch and it worked just fine. You can test with shorter ethernet cables first in your data cabinet.

Keep us posted on progress!
That must be one incredible ice cream store!!!
Hi,

Connect it via Ethernet.
WiFi is your very last option
No Bluetooth. This is isn't secured and be aware no password is needed to connect a Phantom.
Hello. My system is set exactly the way it is in your diagram. However, you can replace your router/modem+internet with internet from your mobile hotspot+laptop (the laptop is linked to hotspot and is bridged in the settings to output the mobile internet via its Ethernet port).
This way you have alternative source of internet/router without the original router. It should work. If it doesn't, then maybe the fault is not with the original router.

I have tried this method a few times.

Rgds
I am here with technician now and we've done almost everything imaginable and we still can't get the Spark app to find the Dialog.
Any ideas?

The white light is solid and not flashing? Have you done the reboot button-pressing sequence yet?
