How much toe in do you recommend?

I found them to be pretty omnidirectional (from the front at least) and it would take the most enthusiastic of blindfolded audiophiles quite some time to hear any noticeable difference with toe in.

No toe in needed. It does not make any difference in my room.
I think the amount of toe in will depend on your room and setup. I have the Phantoms far apart and probably a little closer than is desirable. I have them pointed in right at the sweet spot and they sound better than they have a right considering the room and setup. Your mileage may vary.
