Sound quality as good as it gets. On the German Physiks see this review (among many) (http://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles...udspeaker/). It is this very pair. Dick Olsher dropped them and dented one of the caps. You could replace it -- GP is amazing helpful -- it doesn't bother me (since it doesn't effect the sound in any way) so I haven't. $6000 + shipping (US only). Pickup strongly preferred (Boston)!
In combo with the Devialet it is magical (and SAMed). The Devialet started life as a 120 and has been upgraded. In good shape, although you may more into buffing it than I am. $5500 + shipping (US only).
