How does everyone do multi-room music with phantoms (single and stereos)? For example I would want a stereo Phantom in my Living, single in my Dining, single in the Kitchen, etc..

Will it work with sonos connect / bluesound node optical and just use their apps? How can I do stereo pairing and multi-room? I've heard a lot of negative feedback on using spark for multi-room.
Using Roon with multiple RPI endpoints.
Worked fine in my setup with Dialog and Spark. All Phantoms are connected through PLC. But I live rural and in a owned house. So, I have no neighbors that load the power line with their networks. Bandwidth for 5 Phantoms in 3 rooms worked well for hires music. Currently, I’m frequently using 3 Phantoms in 2 rooms. Roon and RPi to optical input of the Phantoms are my favorite config, mainly because of the better UX of Roon.
Can Roon do multi-room? What endpoints with roon capability do you use?

Yes, when you use RAAT endpoints like RPi’s with e.g. digi+ or Hifiberry Digi+ boards that allow you to feed the optical input of one or more Phantoms you can do multiroom with Roon. In Roon the Rooms are called zones. You then can define zones and group zones. Please refer to the Roon knowledge base for more info regarding RAAT and zone grouping: https://kb.roonlabs.com/Zone#Zone_Grouping
