I just reported to DEVIALET SUPPORT here below bug.
Has any one of you come across this bug?

In order to detect this bug, you must create configuration files for master and companion having values for "Balance & Tone Control" \ "Bass" and "Treble" very different than default values (which are bass = 100 Hz, and treble = 2000 Hz).

================================================================================

Master unit is changing music bass/treble using configurator values for "Balance & Tone Control" \ "Bass" and "Treble, but companion unit is using the default values (which are bass = 100 Hz, and treble = 2000 Hz).

Possible cause: section "DSP_CONFIG" inside configuration file is different for master and companion:
- Master (correct values):
   "DSP_CONFIG":{
      "BASS_FREQ":70,
      "TREBLE_FREQ":15000
     },
- Companion (bad values):
   "DSP_CONFIG":{
      "BASS_FREQ":100,
      "TREBLE_FREQ":2000
    },

It seems that multiple settings form configurator "General settings" section (including "Balance mode", and "Bass" and "Treble" frequencies) are not saved inside companion configuration file, but only inside master configuration file

================================================================================
I have reported this problem to Devialet many times in last 2 years and nothing seems to happen... The problem is in the configurator.
DEVIALET support team stated that this bug have been set into their R&D bug follow up.

I suppose that fixing here above issue on configurator site will take same time. This is why I am thinking to this workaround: instead of using dual-mono configuration, to use two mono configuration and Digital Output (SPDIF) from "master" to Digital Input (SPDIF) from "slave".
Except for speaker settings (mono right and mono left), all other settings will be the same for both "master" and "slave". Remote control will act on both units at once. To be more clear, please see here attached configurator captures.

I have two concerns regarding this setup:
1. This configuration is ok and it should work fine?
2. Regarding the sound quality, it will be the same as the one from dual-mono configuration? I suppose that dual-mono configuration is also using Digital Output/Input (SPDIF) for music, and sound quality should be the same, but I'm not sure...

Is anyone using such configuration? Any advice?...

Thank you.
@daniel.avasilichioaei - Wow, sorry I missed this back when you posted it. So does your suggested workaround of configuring each Expert Pro as a separate Mono amp work? Hadn't thought to try that. I was also unaware of the other Configurator problems as well. Good to know. Thanks!
Strange they still didn’t fix this!

At that time, I tried the separate mono configuration, using one remote for both units. It worked fine, except for one thing: digital output has a fixed sample rate (see picture here below), and this is not ok.
I believe that on dual mono configuration somehow this sample rate is not fixed.

Maybe I will try again. It would be great to find a workaround, because configurator is working fine for mono, so I will be able to set whatever configuration I want. Also, trigger cable would be no longer required (in order to compensate companion stand by / power off temperature issue).

P.S.: I also thought about the option to use a dual mono configuration file for the master and a mono configuration file for the companion. So far I haven't tried this...

Wake up and smell the coffee, Devialet Don’t give a crap, they treat there customers like dirt, once you’ve bought the product, they don’t care after that. The fact you’ve waited 2 years should tell you something, they haven’t even updated their software for the latest Mac a operating system, they’ve had 18 months to do that.
Devialet does seem to pay attention to submitted tickets. Now, that may be very little attention, but with enough tickets submitted, they do seem to eventually respond. I'd strongly advise that anyone with a dual-mono setup submit a ticket about the bugs in the online configurator. If you've done so before, revive the ticket and ask again.

@Musicmanlv - I doubt many of us would argue your points. I will say that I don't believe they treat us like dirt... that would imply some action on their part. I think mostly they ignore us hoping we'll stop asking for things. Like bug fixes. Or completion of promises they've made. But in truth, many of us love our Devialet gear and if a good bit of nudging eventually produces results, well so be it.

Put it this way, I was going to become a dealer, I stopped because they treat dealers even worse, with Devialet it’s put up or shut up, they promise the sun will be shining tomorrow with them, but it never comes out.

i also noticed when being asked to sell there products, they wanted me to focus on the phantoms and not the expert pros, I told them I wasn’t interested since they sell them themselves online, it’s not insensitive for me to do so.

i realised early on Devialet focus is on selling products and not maintaining them and providing real support for there customers.

i realised they’re not willing to change or improve, for that reason I decided not to become a seller of their products l.
