Hi,

I have been trying to connect two SVS PB1000 to my Devialet 400 setup (2x Expert 200). I tried connecting the first sub in the sub preout and the second to the second unit sub preout.

The problem is that the left chanel sub is working only. but not the right one.

I have tried to set the preout to mono in both units but no luck. Also I configured the first preout in the first unit to left and the second preout in the second unit to right but not working also.

Is there any special setup that I need to do?

Attached is my configurator setup and sub preout setup
This should work. You might need to open a case with support. But in the meantime, try configuring mono sub from master, and use a Y cable if you have one handy.

Hi Sam1000,

Have you done a similar setup?

what should be the pre-out setup? mono or stereo?
It's quite possible that your configuration just didn't take properly. You could swap the two (since you have two masters) and see whether the problem moves to the other channel.

If it turns out to be an issue with configuration, start a brand new one and follow the method below:

Edit: I've done the exact same setup with the only exception that mine weren't sub but full range outputs to a setup in the garage. It should just work.

I use mono->dspeaker 8033s-II->dual sub.
Hi,

I have just done the dual sub setup with my Expert 440 and set mine up the same as yours, pre-outs set to mono left and right, the only difference being I set the filtering to full range. I also initially encountered exactly the same issue of only the left sub working. The solution was a bit quirky. I had initially set the remote Tone button to Sub on / off as I was connecting a sub so it seemed the logical choice. However this did not work and both subs would only spring into life when I set the tone button to pre on / off. I didn't think this should have any bearing at all on the subs output but it did in my case. This seems like a bug but it was the only way I could get it to work.
Have you set the same "Sub settings" (apart from ticking L rather than R) for both units? I seem to remember you need to do both. Mine went mono for a while, I just "refreshed" the Configurator and has been faultless for a year since.
