More and more recordings are being issued in DSD64 which provides a bit rate of 11279 bits.  DSD128 gives 22579 bits

None of these can be read, they have to be converted to PCM to hear the music

Are any future upgrades planned to handle this?

Or is it an architecture or design problem?
The Devialet ADH architecture is inherently PCM, so if you feed a Devialet DSD, the first thing it does is convert to PCM via MAT.

DSD64 DoP is transfered in the lower 16bits of a PCM 174.6 signal and DSD128 DoP is transfered in a PCM 352.8 signal. I think Devialet runs at 384kHz/40bit so it could be possible to do DSD128 but it will be converted to PCM.
