Do you guys crank it loud straight after turning on or do you let them sit for a while first?

I know it's a weird question but I've seen people warm solid state amps beforehand. Is it all a load of rubbish?

Not sure about solid state, but I know for my tube amp I need to let it warm up for 30 mins before it opens up... with the Phantom's you don't need to do that... turn it on and crank away.
I'd say transistor amps still perform slightly better when warm. Electronic devices still rely on chemical components, whose performance depend on a temperature range (which can be found in the specs, i.e. "operating range 0°C - 40°C").

But you can crank the volume up straight after turning on, I mean there is no risk of damage unless specified. It will get warmer quicker at least !
