Hello all.

I want to add power conditioner for my devialet, would you recommend which one is good for devialet and no compassion. Thank you!
I have get really good results with Purist Audio LUMINIST AC EXTENSION LE it makes wonders to the voices and presence!

I have owned Isotek and Shunyata research Hydra Cyclops but I have to say i really like the Purist Audio!

But always in hifi I think it's important to try different brands and not to be a fanboy about a selected brand those it's a Mather of matching the components. If one component sounds amazing in my setup it's not sure it sound amazing in you setup!
I've tried power conditioners from Running Springs, Shunyata and PS Audio and while all have their strengths, none were able to work well on power amps. I then tried the PI Audio UberBUSS from PIaudio (piaudiogroup.com) about a decade ago. No going back. It does an awesome job in both relaxing the music (increasing musicality) while improving transient response and PRAT. It is the only power conditioner I've found to be able to work well on power amps and is a great match for my Expert Pro 440.

Definitely worth an inquiry...
It may depend on which Devialet you have given that the bigger the amp, the greater the power draw. I have a 140 Pro and originally was using an Isotek Aquarius but I upgraded that to a PA Audio P12 which works very well. I use the high current outlet for the 140 Pro.
I want to bought the ps audio stella p3 ,but i scare the wattage cannot support my dual D400 .

The P3 is a superseded model, dropped from the range some time ago. I don't know if it could support a 400 but you may well be surprised.

The specs for my P12 say it can output up to 1300 W. Checking the output screen during what I regard as loud passages with my 140 (volume set to -20 dB or a bit higher), the system as a whole is drawing around 8 to 9% of rated output. Besides the amp the P12 is supplying my Nucleus+ and the EtherREGEN. Devialet's are very efficient because of the class D amp.

Where you may run into problems is that some of the Power Plants only have 1 high current outlet and you would want 2 high current outlets for a dual 400. The Australian model of the P12 only has 1 high current outlet but the US version has 2 (Australian outlets are physically larger than US outlets and there's only space for 4 Australian outlets on the rear of a P12. You haven't said where you're located but my advice if you are considering a P3 is first to check whether it has 2 high current outlets and then to borrow it for a day or so and try it in your system to make sure it can deliver the current your amps require along with anything else you're going to connect.
(28-Apr-2020, 04:21)Dear David A Thank you for your reply, i am come form HK. My system using the US plug and the p3 price is checper then  p12 nearly half price,  so that the US ver of P3 had 2 high current outlet can plug the dual mono 400, i wanna to know compare with directly plug into wall socket and with P12 the sound different is big?   Thank you! David A Wrote: [ -> ]

Audioquest niagara 1200?
Hi, after several attempts, I decided to go with Isotek Evo3 Titan One with Evo3 Syncro! Very satisfied!

By the way, there is already a post on the subject: „Clean Power für Devialet“ Wink

I haven't seen a P3 in use. I borrowed my dealer's store demo P5 for trial before ordering the P12 and the P5 worked fine in my system but the P12 definitely sounded better when it arrived (the dealer let me continue to use the P5 while he waited for my P12 to arrive). My 140 sounds better with the P12 than directly plugged into the wall, and that was also the case with the P5.

My 140 sounded good with the Isotek Aquarius as well, but it  definitely exhibeted more drive with the P5 than with the Aquarius, and a bit more drive again with the P12. mdconnely said that he found that power conditioners didn't work well with power amps. I tried several conditioners with the NAD M3 integrated that I was using prior to getting my 140 and I had similar experiences but I did find that newer conditioners did tend to work better with amps than earlier models, I think manufacturers have improved their products over time. I think good conditioners these days can deliver good results with at least some amps but I think a lot depends on how much current the amp draws. My 140 worked better with the Aquarius I had been using with the NAD and I think in general Devialet's present an easier load for a conditioner than a class A or class AB amp of the same power.

Even so, I think you should try any conditioner you're considering using with an amp before you buy. Amps place the biggest demands on a conditioner and some amps place heavy demands on a conditioner.
