Yes good idea. If you look on the Munich Hi-End website you will find room layouts for the M.O.C.

http://www.highendsociety.de/index.php/brands_2015.html

Devialet are in Atrium 4.1 OG rooms F108 and F109 which are accessed off the main floor, next to the open restaurant.

I imagine these will be display and "Q and A" rooms. People like Thierry Massoubre, Manuel de la Fuente, possibly Joachim Fritsch, possibly Mathias Pernot, should be there.

They feed rear rooms F113 and F114 and F115 which I think is where Devialet will be demonstrating the Expert and possibly the Phantom products (though I see that the distributor is also earmarking rooms for Anthem, Moon and Shunyata Research, so probably one of those latter three rooms will not really be a Devialet one, but two should be).

If history repeats itself, the Devialet rooms will be facilitated exclusively by Devialet personnel, not by distributor personnel. This seemed to be a good thing in past years as, in my experience, most manufacturers know much better their products and how to demonstrate them than most distributors do.
This is my first post here. I live in the French speaking part of Switzerland but as former Munich resident and now regular Munich visitor, I might be able to point to some of the better Bavarian restaurants:

Augustiner am Dom: Augustiner is the best factory made Munich beer ("Helles" highly recommended); location is very central   and the food is good - http://www.augustineramdom.de/en

Wirtshaus in der Au: very nice venue, good food, good range of beers - http://wirtshausinderau.de/en/wirtshaus/

Hofbraeukeller: Hofbraeu is second best after Augustiner, the venue is huge so no reservation needed and the food is fairly good -http://www.hofbraeukeller.de/

Giesinger Braeustueberl: excellent craft beer, the venue is a bit difficult to reach with public transport, food sometimes good, sometimes so-so, very crowded in the evening - http://www.giesinger-braeu.de/braeustueberl/

Forschungsbrauerei - Marktschaenke - very good craft beer, rather central location directly at the famous Vitkualienmarkt, small venue, no idea about the food - http://www.forschungsbrauerei.de/index.p...ktschaenke

Enjoy Munich!

Great to hear! I guess we are + 10 people right now. Do G or Ian know how many and who?

Charging up for Munich/Mike
I'm probably also going to the High End together with a friend. Where's the meetup on friday?

There is one at 14.00 outside one of the Devialet rooms and then a get together in central Munich in the evening but not yet decided.

Either Ian or Guillaume have more info on this.

Hi - see my post on this thread a little earlier for suggested time and location; you cannot miss the Devialet rooms - right next to the open restaurant
As far as I can see, these are the declared attendees:

Charlemagne

Darthsteph

Guillaume

IanG-UK

Invader (plus one other)

Kunter (plus one other)

Mikeeo

Mka

Stefanfreij

(Apologies if I have typed names incorrectly)

So 11.

By the way, you can buy tickets to the show online; a little cheaper than at the entrance plus you will avoid what seemed to be long queuing at times in previous years.
